November Wrap Up

How time flies when you are having fun reading books!

November was an especially exciting month for me. Firstly I discovered Withney G, Jessica Lemmon, Louise Bay and the world of Polo.

So without further delay here is my November Wrap Up:

Royally screwed by Emma Chase (3 Stars)

This is the first book in the "Royally" series and is a prince charming meets cinderella retelling. This book is a stand alone.

If I had to describe the book it’s Gone to America meets an X rated Princess diaries.

Book two in this Royally series - Royally Matched - is scheduled to come out in 2017.

Honor by Jay Crownover (4 Stars)

Honor is the first book in “The Breaking Point” series and is the the first by Jay Crownover I have read.

This story was fantastic, it was different and if you like the Sons of Anarchy world you will love this book. Although I have to admit the sex scenes were steamier then the once ince SOA show…. in my opinion. ;)

Four Letter Word by J Daniels (2 Stars)

Four Letter Word is the first book in the “Dirty Deeds” series and I picked this book purely on recommendation.

I wasn’t sold on this story or perhaps after reading some great romance novels this one seemed just a bit too vanilla for me.

Indigo Nights by Louise Bay (4 Stars)

This is book three in the "Nights" series and is a stand alone.

So if you are ever wondering what happens when you have an amazing one night stand then this is the book for you.

I’m smiling as I write this! I really liked this book, and if you have spent any time in the business lounge of an airport you should read this book. Although I have to say with a room full of suites I never managed to find a Dylan.

Turbulence by Whitney G. (5 Stars)

Have you ever fantasised about a man in uniform? A hot pilot with with a smile to die for?

To answer all your fantasies Whitney G brings you Jake Weston. He is young, in fact the youngest senior captain around. He is handsome, smart, confident and he is a bad boy.

Whitney G offers the Epilogue to this book for Free on her site WhitneyG.com

This book has made my Best of 2016 list.

Sincerely, Carter by Whitney G (4 Stars)

After reading Turbulence I was on such a book high that I was looking for the next Gillian and Jake, or at least their humour and relationship dynamic.

If you wanted to know what happens when best friends cross the line of no return then this book is for you. I liked it but didn’t think it was anywhere near as good at Turbulence.

The free Epilogue can be found on Whitney G's page and it's called Sincerely, Arizona

The Billionaire Bachelor by Jessica Lemmon (4 Stars)

This is book one of the "Billionaire Bad Boys" series.

This story is about a modern day version of an arranged marriage.

Only the Groom is hot, rich and ambitious and the the heroin is not a damsel in destress… or is she?

The Billionaire Next Door by Jessica Lemmon (4 stars)

This is book two in the "Billionaire bad boys" series.

Yes you NEED to read this book. Tag the middle Crane brother takes a wallflower to bed and by the end of it is bitten by a tigress. This is all very fitting as he him self looks like Tarzan

Book 3, The Bastard Billionaire, is due to be released in February 2017.

Reasonable Doubt series (volume 12&3) by Whitney G

(2 Stars)

This book was written in 3 volumes but can be found as a stand alone on Audible, including the free epilogue.

This story explores the relationship that is founded on lies and sexual intimidation. As much as I hated the main character (Andrew) I give credit to the heroin in this book she had balls for the both of them. You’ll just have to read this book to see what I mean.

Welcome to the "Polo Season" series brought to you by Nacho Figueras written by Jessica Whitman

(4 Stars for each book)

This is a three book series, each book can be read as a stand alone but in my opinion is best read in the correct order as each preceding couple makes an appearance in the following book.

The series begins with High Season, book one, where we meet Georgia and Alejandro Del Campo the eldest of the two brothers. Alejandro tries to remain professional with the George the team Veterinarian but the chemistry is simply too strong to resist.

Book two is Wild One with Kat Parker & Sebastian Del Campo the youngest brother, the playboy. Kat is a force to be reckoned with, she is independent, ambitious and confident. In this book you can read all about the romance between this play boy and the muse.

You can check out my full review of Wild One here.

The series finished with Ride Free, book 3, where we get to know Antonia Black, the Del Campo boy’s half sister. Antonia and Enzo Rivas have spent years around each other working and finally their pant up emotions get the better of them, but a blast from the past threatens to distort what’s barel started.

Daintree by Annie Seaton (4 Stars)

This the the second book in The Porter Sister series where we meet Emma Porter.

This book explores life in far north Queensland and the lifestyle of an ambitious Dr in a remote small town. Her life is turned upside down when her ex-boyfriend, the love of her live, unexpectedly arrives in the town as the new Dr.

Check out my full review here.

I was also very fortunate to have an interview with Annie Seaton in November and you can read all about it here.
